Rims and alloy mags
A second set of rims is what makes the seasonal swap fast and gentle on the tires: no unseating the bead twice a year, so less wear on the bead and the sensors.
Jump the line: reserve now = served right away at your chosen time
Walk-ins are always welcome 7 days a week in Dorval, but a reserved slot guarantees you a priority bay and no waiting.
Steel or alloy
Steel takes potholes and road salt, can often be straightened after an impact and costs less: the classic winter choice. Alloy is lighter, better for fuel use and ride comfort, but cracks rather than bends. Many customers keep the factory alloys for summer and a steel set for winter.
Bolt pattern, offset and bore
Three numbers have to line up: the bolt pattern (5x114.3 for example), the offset (ET) and the centre bore. The wrong offset rubs in the wheel well or loads the bearings; an oversized bore needs a hub-centric ring. Our vehicle search already filters on all three.
TPMS sensors
Since 2008 most North American vehicles carry pressure sensors. A second set of rims needs either its own sensors or a transfer at every swap. We sell, program and install sensors on site.
Frequently asked questions
Can I fit 20-inch mags on my truck?
Often yes, as long as the overall tire diameter stays close to stock so the odometer stays accurate. Tell us the vehicle and we validate the rim plus tire combination before ordering.
