TPMS sensors for Longueuil
A pressure light on the dash almost always comes from a dead or unprogrammed TPMS sensor. We sell new sensors at $55 before tax, programmed to your vehicle and fitted on site, seven days a week, 30 to 40 minutes from Longueuil.
What's included
Each sensor is $55 before tax, programming included. A full set is four sensors. Fitting happens during the tire mount, with no extra labour when we are installing your tires.
- New sensor programmed to your vehicle
- Pressure light read and reset
- Fits most 2008 and newer vehicles
- Fitted during the mount, no extra labour
When to replace a sensor
A TPMS sensor battery lasts 5 to 10 years and can't be replaced on its own. A light that stays on after pressures are set, a sensor that no longer reads, or a valve corroded by road salt all mean a new sensor.
Vehicles in the area
Sedans, SUVs and commuter vehicles, mainly 16 to 19 inch. Most of those vehicles leave the factory with four sensors; a second set of winter rims therefore needs four more if you want the light to stay off.
Getting here from Longueuil
Cross via the Jacques-Cartier bridge or the tunnel, take the 20 West to Dorval and exit at Hymus.
Frequently asked questions
Are TPMS sensors mandatory in Quebec?
No, Quebec law doesn't require them, but a vehicle that came with them keeps its warning light on until all four sensors work — and pressure itself remains a safety and wear issue.
Do I need sensors on a second set of rims?
Only if you want the light off. Many customers fit four sensors on their winter rims once and never touch them again for years.
Do you program sensors on site?
Yes, programming to your vehicle's protocol is included in the sensor price and done in the shop during the mount.
